Central Bark Dog Park

Central Bark Dog Park spans approximately 5 acres in the center of 35 wooded acres. The park has many great features for your pet, including:

DOG SWIMMING POOL:

Our supervised swimming pool is surrounded by a 6 ft fence in a park-like atmosphere, featuring old-fashioned lighting and park benches where you can sit in the shade and take in the fresh country air. The pool is kept safe and clean with UV light technology and an anti-bacterial filtration system. Dogs can even drink the water, it’s so clean. The pool has a shallow end that graduates into a deep end for more experienced swimmers. The bottom of the pool is made from round river rock and sand. The water is circulated through two different filters to assure cleanliness and safety. When it’s time for your pet to get out of the pool, they can head to our outdoor bathing station and high velocity dryer to ensure a nice, dry car ride home.

NATURE TRAILS:

Our beautifully-manicured trails weave through a safe and secluded wooded area and offer a peaceful place for you and your dog to take a walk. The stoned walkways keep mud down, and the paths are sprayed bi-weekly for ticks and fleas. A great way to bond with your dog and get a light workout.

2 ACRE CLEARED AREA:

An open clearing where dogs can run and play frisbee or fetch. Enough space for your pet to break out into an all-out run. The area is fenced and safe for runners, and is also sprayed for ticks and fleas bi-weekly.

WEEKLY GUEST SPEAKERS:

On Saturdays, the park will host free informational talks with special guest speakers from various areas of expertise. These specialists will address interesting and important topics pertaining to dogs and will offer helpful insight for pet owners. Guest speakers include professionals from several different fields, including: vets, pet psychics, groomers, holistic vets, acupressure and pet massage therapists, pet nutricianists, trainers, and many more.

YAPPY HOUR:

Friday afternoons is Yappy Hour, a singles mixer event for singles and their pets. It’s a friendly environment to meet fellow animal lovers while your pet enjoys the park. No alcohol.

*All of our special events and activities will now be held in Central Bark Dog Park.*
